There are between 80 and 90 issues each year; I found it hard to stop browsing through them: Car computer systems at risk for viruses, 'Insane' Quebec Govt Online PAC ID system, Partisan e-mail censorship masquerading as spam filtering during the run-up to the 2004 election, and on...Paypal risks to buyers, Encryption Illegal in Minnesota... I had to search out CNN's report on this one, I couldn't believe it--yes, according to CNN "A Minnesota appeals court has ruled that the presence of encryption software on a computer may be viewed as evidence of criminal intent". It's not quite as bad as it sounded--the presence of encryption software is not prima facie evidence, doesn't make the case all by itself, but it helped to demolish claims of innocence after child porn was found on a guy's computer.

Finally, one entry of particular interest is from Peter Neumann, the moderator of RISK. Around the program's 20th anniversary in 2005, he suggested that the organization might want to consider some way of conveying to the public the potential for harm from the computerized systems that we all use with such nonchalance. Public-interest radio spots were suggested, since one member of the team has the relevant expertise, but this would require some funding. My search of subsequent issues didn't turn up anything more on this yet.

Hey guys I had an old laptop running XP Pro. A couple of weeks ago, every time I would connect to the internet via DSL or wireless, the hard drive light would come on - as if it were writing something to the hard drive. It would cause IE to run slower than dial-up. I looked in task manager and although the CPU usage was high, there didn't seem to be a process listed that was using it. I used LavaSoft Adaware to scan on a regular basis as well as Norton 2005. I eventually gave up and bought a new laptop (Vista Home), which now has the same problem. It is obviously related to something that I copied over to the new computer from the old computer. But the things is, Norton Internet security isn't picking up a virus. I used it to scan everything before copying it on to the new computer. Has anyone heard of such a thing or had the same problem? I'd much rather be able to find and remove the problem rather than restore.

It seems to me that a lot of people with visible work put a lot of thought into it before hand.
Recently I discovered a rant on quite a respected figure in the tattoo community's Myspace. I say rant, it was more like pure venomous hatred.
It would seem that some find young people with visible ink, impatient and disrespectful, and they must all just think it's cool to have visible work.
I'm 23, My first tattoo was on my shoulder, then my wrists, then I got a full sleeve. Then I moved to my hands, then neck and I also have a large part of my leg tattooed.
It took me about two years to get the opportunity to get my hand tattooed by my idol, and then my neck by an artist I greatly admire, a lot of time, effort and thought was put into both of these.
Even though I'm somewhat older and do have a fair bit of coverage, I might still be classed as young and "under-tattooed" to have such visible work, and I can't help but think that's kinda crazy!
Sure I've seen some 18 year olds with kanji on their necks or poorly executed skulls on their hands, and you can almost tell they rushed into it, wanting everyone to see their new work as clearly as possible, and fine that to me is impatient and maybe even attention seeking.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that not everyone who has visible work is disrespectful to the art, some people invest a great deal of time, money and effort into getting that particular location inked with the highest standard work possible.
It's kinda funny to find prejudice within a community that tries so hard to divert it away from itself.

* Send those poor souls off a message such as:

Weird right? Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to chat with me on (whatever instant messager you have). My screenname is ____. I'll be online for a few more minutes but if you happen to miss me - you can shoot me over an email to ____@gmail.com (You remembered to setup the gmail autoresponder pic message right?)

Well, I really hope you write me back. It is pretty lonely in the big city for a girl like me."

* Now this next step only applies if you are actually online at the time that these guys message you.

Whenever you aren't online that gmail autoresponder you setup is going to take care of your lead generation by sending your pre-made message.

Wait for the messages to start rolling to your instant message program. If you made sure to message guys that are marked as "online now" you should start receiving messages any minute. Simply tell these guys something along the lines of.

"Hey cutie, glad you sent me a message! I'm JUST about to log-off though but I am going to be on my webcam later. If you have an AmateurMatch account you can watch me on my cam. I also have some pics of me in my bikini and lingerie that were too hot to add to my profile. AmateurMatch is way better anyways.
